I truly believe that apart from external factors, one way to help with stress is by eating and avoiding certain food and drinks. This post will be focused on common fruit that can be found in most places, however there are loads of more fruit that reduce stress levels.
1. Citrus Fruit
Citrus fruit are packed with Vitamin C, and studies have shown how this vitamin helps reduce stress. It also boosts your immune system, which protects you from becoming ill. Grab an orange, grapefruit or any other citrus fruit to help you control your stress levels during the day!
Just like citrus fruit, kiwis contain Vitamin C. An interesting fact is that kiwis contain more Vitamin C than oranges. This is a great fruit to reduce stress levels.
Blueberries contain various antioxidants and Vitamin C, which help with stress levels. I love blueberries because they help your body in so many ways, its fascinating! You also could make delicious blueberry muffins!
One of my favourite fruits! Raspberries contain the same properties as blueberries, they help in so many ways. Apart from reducing stress, they also help by preventing cancer cells, cardiovascular disease and many others. You can also make some amazing muffins with this fruit!
My all time favourite fruit. They are delicious, healthy and they can provide you with various vitamins and minerals to help you feel energised during the day.
Fruit are a major part of my diet, ever since I stopped eating animal products I naturally increased my intake of fruit and veg. The fruit that I suggested above, all helped me control my levels of stress much better than I ever had before.
