Hi there!

Hi lovelies,

I would like to start by explaining the meaning behind the blog’s name. My amazing boyfriend helped me come up with this name which symbolises a person suffering from anxiety who is struggling to climb up the hill but with the right support and tools that person will manage to reach the top and slay their anxiety.

As my first blog post I thought it would be beneficial to say something short about myself.

I am a 20 year old student who lives on a tiny island called Malta. I recently graduated in psychology and will soon be commencing my masters. I always wanted to find a way how to help other people who are going through certain rough patches in their life. Starting a blog finally felt like the best option to do so.

I was diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder (GAD). I consider myself to be quite an introvert until I feel comfortable with a person. I am a very shy person, socially awkward and super weird, but thats ok because as one of my favourite book says “you’re entirely bonkers. But i’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are”. (For those who don’t know, that quote is from Alice in Wonderland)

Since I have GAD, my main reason as to why I become anxious is because I have no control on the events that make me anxious and so this led me to form a few OCD habits.

I decided to start a blog so that I can share with you my experiences and hopefully help you with yours. My blog will be tackling mainly anxiety related issues as well as ways on how one can reduce their anxiety; however, I will be posting other related issues that deem fit for this blog.

I really hope I have captured your attention and that you will join me on this journey to find yourself!

Please do not hesitate to provide feedback or ask certain questions that one may wish me to answer or write about.

Love,

D x
